Jane did both her undergraduate and graduate work at the University of Missouri - Columbia where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors with degrees in Secondary Social Studies Education and Curriculum and Instruction. She serves as an advisor for the undergraduate program and provides administrative support for various projects within the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution. Jane has worked in student services with the Carter School since 2008. She teaches CONF 314, an advisory seminar for undergraduate students which focuses on academic planning for conflict majors, applications of the degree, and career readiness. Prior to her time with the Carter School, Jane lived in Missouri and taught high school for 5 years before staying at home to raise a family and serve as an active community participant and volunteer. She and her family moved to the DC area in 2000.
