Non-Degree Studies

If you want to add to your professional skills but do not wish to commit to a degree program, non-degree studies is for you.

Get an idea of what you'll gain from our courses and get to know our faculty before officially entering a certificate or degree program, or enrich your life by continuing to learn just for the joy of it.

You can earn 10 credits per semester as a non-degree student. You must still be admitted to the university, and will need to:

  • Fill out the online application.
  • Provide official transcripts from all schools attended.
  • Provide a résumé/CV

*Applicants with international credentials will need to submit additional items

Application deadline

  • Spring: January 4th
  • Fall:  August 1st

Important Note:

Current graduate students visiting from other colleges or universities, or community members who hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution may be considered for graduate non-degree admission.

Being admitted as a non-degree student doesn't guarantee admission to a future degree or certificate program, and we restrict some graduate courses to degree-seeking students.Non-degree graduate students can enroll in a maximum of 10 undergraduate or graduate (100-799) credit courses per semester.
