Grace McIntyre is an incoming student in the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution who is in the Honors College.

Cece Foye is an incoming freshman in the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution who is a University Scholar in the Bonner Leadership Program.

Cora Jackson, an incoming student in the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution and an Honors College student has passions for skiing, travel, and pets.

Senior of the Year Celine Apenteng has made an impact during her time at George Mason, and she isn’t done. After graduating this spring, the Silver Spring, Maryland, native will continue to pursue her master’s through the university’s accelerated master’s program.

Keil Eggers, who is graduating from Mason with his PhD in Conflict Analysis and Resolution, has been a champion of complexity-informed conflict transformation, futures, and SenseMaker: a technology that applies a quantitative framework to narrative data submitted and interpreted by the subjects themselves. 

Hannah Adamson, who graduated in May with a bachelor’s degree in conflict analysis and resolution, is one of 62 recipients nationwide awarded a fellowship by The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Hannah Adamson knew after an 8th-grade trip to Washington, D.C., that the capital region was the place for her. She is graduating this May with a bachelor of arts in conflict analysis and resolution.

As a child, Nathaniel Socks said he was restless, and could often be found tapping his hands on nearby objects. His mom enrolled him in drum lessons in second grade, he said, which led to his favorite hobby—one that taught him valuable life lessons.

“I got to see how if you put in hard work and dedicate yourself to something really hard, how cool the product can be,” the incoming George Mason University freshman said. “That was one thing that really got me into drumming—you can see the progression of practicing.”

Graduating senior Nicole Herman said Mason made the world her campus.

Despite a path to George Mason University that was challenging and, in her own words, “unconventional,” incoming freshmen Juliette Reyes moved on to campus this fall.

The Parkland, Florida, native will be double majoring in government and international politics and conflict analysis and resolution, a decision based on an initial interest in politics in high school that grew into a passion.
